Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse & Exploitation

Last updated: 14 Sep 2026

The Boring App has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind, in any part of the app or its associated services.

1. Our Commitment

The Boring App, as published on Google Play, has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This applies to every surface of the app — including usernames, leaderboard profiles, and any user-submitted content — and to our support channels.

2. How We Define CSAE

We adopt Google Play's definition: CSAE is any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. This includes, without limitation:

3. Enforcement

Because The Boring App collects minimal user data — sessions can be run anonymously and no messaging or media-sharing exists in the app — the surface area for this kind of abuse is small. Where user-facing text does exist (such as leaderboard usernames), we remove violating content on discovery and permanently ban the associated account.

4. Reporting a Concern

If you encounter content or behavior related to the app that you believe violates this policy, report it immediately:

Email: anubhavsharma00004@gmail.com

Include as much detail as possible (username, screenshot, date/time) so we can investigate and act quickly. We review every report.

5. CSAM Point of Contact

The designated point of contact for CSAM-related matters is:

Anubhav Sharma
Developer, The Boring App
anubhavsharma00004@gmail.com

6. Cooperation with Authorities

Where required by law, we take appropriate action against confirmed CSAM and cooperate with law enforcement and relevant child-safety organizations, including reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the equivalent authority in the relevant jurisdiction.

7. Related Policies

This page is published to meet Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy requirement that apps post externally accessible standards against CSAE, identifying The Boring App as listed on Google Play.
